As my alarm goes off and i'm creeping out of bed...
Im dreading thoughts of work...dreams of sleeping in instead...
I brush my teeth, take a shower...next i'm picking out my clothes...
last minute as i'm rushing...just to get up out the door...
school traffic, now i'm stuck...cause the cross guard walked out...
phone rings, who is itit...not gonna talk now...
but it's my boss...I'll ignore it...cause there's time left...
but kids in the cross walk...I still can't drive yet...
as they hit the side walk...my pedal hits the floor...
then I see the blue lights from that devil in the ford...
damn it...pull over...what an awesome day...
6 point and a fine, now I'm on my way...
I'm awful late...I try and sneak to my desk...
but my boss hears the door chime and peeks out her head...
i get called in...and i never wanna say
Why i'm late cause it's a different story every other day...

five o'clock, time to sign out...I'm heading to the bank...

so I leave with an empty wallet...

until i make the next deposit...
gas lights flashin as i starting up my ride...
which means I'm probably getting stranded with the farther that i drive...
so i'm lifting couch cushions...searching for some change...
Thoughts about a new life filled with fortune and some fame...
lint ball, old buttons and a broke pencil...
are the only things i find, so regretful...
so, I head to the fridge and Im a grab a beer...
thats outdated, all of them by like a half of a year...
I throw it back, start to chug...somehow manage to breath...
and the rest i shot gun, like riding passenger seat...
I black out...i'm not drunk...so i doubt for real...
I've blacked out...oh wait...damn, the power bill...
fed up, i light a candle...just to set my way...
back to dreamland...the only place that i can get away
